Privacy Policy

What we store

• Display name — the name you type before joining. Choose a nickname if you would rather not use your real name.
• Player identifier — a random ID created in your browser so we can tell players in a camp apart.
• Game state — camp code, chosen animals, terrain, positions and the battle log.
• Chat messages — world chat and camp chat messages, with the display name and player identifier attached.
• Technical logs — our hosting and database providers record standard request logs, which can include IP address, for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for your address or date of birth, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Why we store it

To run multiplayer games and chat (performance of the service you asked for), to keep chat safe and prevent abuse, and to keep the service secure and working (our legitimate interests).

Payments

If you take out the Supporter Tier, card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, not by us. We receive confirmation of the subscription and the billing email address so we can support your account.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the game for us: our hosting platform, our database and realtime provider, and our payment provider. We do not sell personal data. Some providers operate outside the UK/EEA; where they do, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Chat messages and finished game records are kept while they are useful for moderation and support, and removed on request. Your display name and player identifier live in your own browser — clearing your browser storage deletes them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email admin@2protectrestattack.com and include your display name and, where relevant, the camp code. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
